OUR WORK;

"CANARY ISLANDS"

Students have been working through various aspects of this mural. Different courses have developed activities that through English have learned more about the islands where they live.

1º The preparation. First, several students wrote a small text on the Canary Islands. After they were looking as were the shields and flags of each island. Will then start painting.

2º  The result. Once finished we took some pictures, and then put on display that will make the school in the auditorium of the same

The Day of Canary Islands

The autonomous region of the Canary Islands celebrates on May 30th , the Day of the Canary Islands, a big party in honour of the canary spirit and people. It commemorates that on this day back in 1983 the first session of the CanaryParliament took place, the legislative body which establishes the statute of autonomy in the Canaries. A day in which many cultural, traditional, festive and political events are taking place all around the islands. You will find that most businesses on the islands will close to celebrate this day.

CANARY ISLANDS DAY

La semana que viene celebramos el día de Las Islas Canarias, en el aula de inglés también vamos a celebrarlo. El vocabulario, actividades de plástica y de creación combinadas con el uso del inglés, nos hará envolver el día de esta celebración en un compendio de varios conceptos con los que el alumno/a se podrá enriquecer culturalmente. Por una parte con el uso del inglés y por otra por el conocimiento de la cultura que le rodea, todo ello aderezado con su inventiva a la hora de realizar la decoración del aula de inglés.
